CultuurKwadraat, a Zeeland-based arts and culture organization, launched a competition to design its new cultural bus. From the selected entries, my design was ultimately chosen.
With the design of the Cultural Wave, I wanted to show how young people can fully immerse themselves in everything that art and culture have to offer. Like a wave, culture moves throughout Zeeland, taking people on a journey of discovery through museums, heritage, art, and stories.
The wave represents not only creativity and inspiration, but also the sea and water, which are deeply connected to Zeeland. This gives the bus a strong and recognizable Zeeland identity.
With this design, I hope to inspire young people and set a new wave of artists, makers, and cultural explorers in motion.
